NEW REGULATIONS
There have been new regulations to the game and toy industry to protect children ages 12 and under.
Items are tested for numerous things, including dyes, types of plastics, magnets, small removable choking parts, etc. New warnings are to be attached. Documentation is to be made available.
Probably several reasons why, but remember the big mess last fall (2008) with the massive recall of games and toys made in China? Some of the big companies had outsourced production in attempts to cut costs. That was not the first recall but it was one that really put the spotlight on foreign production. Now all products, whether made in the US, Europe, or China need to be tested and results made available.
The results of all the testing can be found on most manufacturing web sites. If you have concerns, let us know and we can give you the name of the manufacturer. If their results are not on their website, contact us and we'll see what we can do to get you the information.

WEEKLY NEW ARRIVALS
Every week, shipments from suppliers arrive with new items or replacements. This includes puzzles, chess, go, backgammon, mah jong, playing cards, dominoes, board and card games, and more!
NEW GAMES EVERY FRIDAY EVENING
On Fridays, we receive board and card games from an in-town supplier. Some of the games are new releases, but we also get old stand-bys, too! They are generally processed and ready for purchase after 5:00 every Friday evening. Every Friday night, something new in boardgames!
  WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON DICE, PAWN, & CHIP ORDERS
Every Wednesday afternoon, we place an order with Koplow, our primary provider of dice, pawns, small poker chips, and small transparent chips. Depending on their work-load, the order takes 1-2 weeks to get delivered to us. Let us know by 1:00 in the afternoon Wednesday (Texas time, CST) if there is something you want from them, and we'll do our best to add it to that day's order if we don't already have it in stock.
HISTORICAL MINIATURES
We carry lots of historical miniatures-- metal figures, paints, terrain, military history books, rules, etc. Check out our companion site Historical Miniatures.
SECURE SITE
We are a secure site, which is noted when you begin payment options. After we retrieve information from our secure server, we manually enter it into the credit card machine just before shipping. If we encounter any problems with product availabilty, charging a credit card, or shipping information, then we'll let you know via email or phone.
YOUR PRIVACY
We do not sell nor share your information with anyone else. Any payment and shipping print-outs go into files away from the store. In 7 years, they will be destroyed.
