TRADITIONAL GAMES FROM EARLY AMERICA AND THE EARLY US

    Picture of ProductDescription & Ordering
EARLY AMERICAS: Patolli - Common folk and nobility in Ancient Central America often wandered around with Patolli mats under their arms. During the game, there are ways to block opponents, send them back to the beginning, or take short-cuts through the board as players race tokens around and off the game board. Five kidney beans marked with a dot on one side are used to generate numbers for the movement of tokens. It is similar to Pacheesi and sometimes noted as evidence of ancient contact between India and Central America. The game board is cloth.
