The wood fiber used in their manufacture is visible on the surface of the pieces and give a different look from traditional plastic. These alternative chips use 40% or more wood fiber taken from waste wood so plant resources are not cultivated for these products. Using so much wood also reduces the need for resin resources by at least 40% or more. The wood-plastic pellets effect varying facets in the injection molding of these products, including the melting of raw materials and faster cycle times. GLASS DROPS Glass droplets are recognized for mancala and as other attractive game tokens. But they also make good worry stones in your pocket, light catchers on windowsills, aquarium gems, pirate treasure, etc. Also known as fairy eggs or dragon drops at Renaissance Faires. Unfortunately, many of our US suppliers are discontinuing the glass drops because of competition with China. It is getting harder and harder for our suppliers to compete with big box stores that can buy millions of them! Be it the nickel-sized and quarter-sized drops or the smaller sized pente drops less than the size of a dime, the drops are harder for us to acquire.
