Evening Host: Austin Go Club
Go players of all levels are welcome to learn more about Go any Tuesday evening. Come by for a game or for tips on playing better. It's a place for beginners to try the game or for experienced players to practice strategies. And it's a place for those who played years ago but who need a refresher session or two. Sometimes more advanced players give presentations or offer lectures using our large magnetic teaching board. If you are in town, stop by for a game. Anywhere from 8-20 people may drop-in during the evening.
The University of Texas Go Club often joins the Tuesday night Austin Go Club for several hours. The University Go Club also meets Thursday nights on campus. On Tuesday night, ask someone in the college crowd for more information about their club.
Go Tournaments In the summers of 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and the fall of 2007 we had tournaments in the store.
